Interior Designer
Hi, I’m Tessa Finnegan! I’m from Ledyard, Connecticut, and I’m currently a senior at the Savannah College of Art and Design, majoring in Interior Design with a minor in Business Management & Entrepreneurship. I’ll be graduating in the spring of 2025, and I’m beyond excited to take the next steps toward turning my passion into a career. My love for interior design started early—back in 6th grade—when I was inspired by my mom, who teaches the subject at my local high school. Watching her enthusiasm for the field sparked a curiosity in me about how spaces can shape our experiences and emotions.
My time at SCAD has been nothing short of amazing. The opportunities I’ve had to learn from incredibly talented professors and collaborate with creative peers have truly shaped my perspective and skill set. SCAD’s hands-on approach, combined with cutting-edge resources, has helped me grow both as a designer and as a problem-solver. From challenging studio projects to coursework that blends design and business, I feel confident and ready to take on the exciting and ever-evolving world of interior design.
